This timeline is mostly based on a single piece of information in George and the Ship of Time, when it is stated that George took off on the Artemis in 2018 and that Ship of Time itself took place in 2081.

1970s or Early 1980s
- Eric Bellis is born
- Susan Bellis is born
- Terence Greenby is born
- Daisy Greenby is born

1990s or early 2000s
- Eric and Dr Reeper study together at Foxbridge University. Zuzubin is their teacher. They also join the Order of Science
- Dr Reeper leaves the Order after going crazy due to directly looking at the Big Bang
2006
- George Greenby is born
- 106 days later, Annie Bellis is born
2008-2010
- George's parents live in a wattle and daub house that is part of a camp where people live the same way Britons in the Iron Age had done
- George falls terribly ill and nearly dies. He is saved by doctors. His grandmother Mabel bought his parents a proper house.
2015
- September-November: Events of George's Secret Key to the Universe. The Bellises move in next to the Greenbys. George's pet pig Freddy breaks through the fence between their houses. George chases after him. He meets Eric and Annie and is introduced to the wonders of science. Eric falls into a black hole after Dr Reeper tricks him about there being a habitable planet there. Dr Reeper steals Cosmos. George gets Cosmos back and gets Eric out of the black hole.
2016
- Around Easter: Events of George's Cosmic Treasure Hunt. The Mars rover Homer malfunctions. Dr Reeper tricks George and Annie into going out into the universe to stop aliens from destroying the Earth. Dr Reeper realizes his mistake of turning his back on the Order and makes a Heel–Face Turn, although he is not accepted back into the Order.
- Between Easter and August: Juno and Hera Greenby are born
- August-September: Events of George and the Big Bang. The Large Hadron Collider is started, but a group called TOERAG think it is going to destroy the universe. Zuzubin puts a bomb in the LHC that would destroy it and the scientists watching it. George and Annie stop the bomb. Dr Reeper rejoins the Order.
2017
- Summer: Events of George and the Unbreakable Code. All computers in the world crash, making society collapse. This is because of Alioth Merak. George and Annie get to his space station and catch him.
2018
- Summer: Events of George and the Blue Moon. George and Annie recieve an letter inviting them to join an astronaut training program. It is all a ruse planned by Alioth Merak, who wants to send them and all the other kids he invited, as well as George's family and Annie's mother, on the Artemis to the future. George and Annie stop him and free the kids and their families, but George decides to stay on the Artemis and go into the universe
2041
- The Great Disruption happens. The world is divided between two corporations, Eden (led by Trellis Dump) and Other Side (led by Bimbolina Kimobolina), with the exception of Na-h Alba, an independent nation led by Annie Bellis
- Annie gets Matushka out of Wonder Academy
2081
- Events of George and the Ship of Time. George lands back on Earth. Trellis Dump is deposed.
