Episode 2- 3 (My Sweet Home)
  • Everything we learn about Narae paints a picture of a sad and lonely person. Narae is alone without any family to speak of, all they desire is someone to understand them who will listen to their worries. Of course, they make the error of trying to get this sympathetic ear from an Abnormality...

    Episode 4- 5 (White Lake)
  • After transferring to Disciplinary as an Agent, it's clear just how devastated Taii is that things had to turn out this way. They blame themself for not being able to save Narae from their fate, lamenting that this may never have happened had they been a better counselor. How heavily their tears are flowing only goes to show the level of their remorse.

    Episode 6 (Variations)
  • After failing to run to a victim of the Penitent Girl in time, Taii is openly crying and beating themself up over being unable to save them. It clearly upsets them to have to to harm others to save them, but they also can't bring themself to simply let people die without doing anything.

    Episode 16- 21 (Hookah Caterpillar)
  • When a young Rose decided to take a look over the Nest wall while their tutor was away, they saw something that would wrench the heart of even a grown adult. The people outside the Nest are forced to live in filthy, horrid squalor, while the children seen are emaciated, reduced to scraping moldy food leavings out of filthy cans just to subsist.
  • After the Hookah Caterpillar has been suppressed, Rose is so distraught about everything that led to this moment that they feel it's better to be killed than live with the pain they're feeling. So, they intentionally strike Catt in the back to try and goad them into attacking with their E.G.O weapon. Rather than doing so, however, Catt instead opts to punch Rose in the gut and walk away, leaving the latter curled up sobbing on the ground.

    Episode 22 (Bottle of Tears)
  • The moment before they have their epiphany, Catt can be seen crying in the Manager's surveillance camera, scared of both the company and the constant deaths and insanity, and the naivety of the people outside the company who don't have to go through what Catt does every day.
Catt: Give me a heart. Give me a strong will to live on in this place. Like [my senior]...I wanna smile on my face always...
  • The look of utter heartbreak on Catt's face when they get a front row seat to their most admired senior losing their mind and having to be put down is heart-wrenching.

Episode 23- 29 (The Servant of Wrath)
  • Beebi is devastated by the aftermath of the Servant of Wrath's rampage. Mass numbers of their lower level agents are dead, and it's clear they're holding back from crying as much as they'd really like over the tragic loss of life.

    Episode 43- 46 (Staining Rose)
  • When Shasha catches Taii and Flower in the Heads' meeting room after the latter two discover the truth of the Staining Rose, they make no move to stop either of them. They only call themself a spineless coward, and step aside to let Taii do as they please.
  • Once Taii discovers the management methods for the titular Abnormality, they grab anyone they can and rush to save Rose before they end up being sacrificed. Unfortunately, by the time they arrive, Rose is already moments away from their death, so everyone is forced to look on in despair as they wait for the inevitable. Even Catt, who spent most of the comic having no concern for the deaths of their fellow employees, is utterly horrified at the sight.
    • And even during all that, Rose spends their last moments berating themself and regretting how they were never able to get any closure on Catt's feelings.

Episode 47 (Gone with a Simple Smile)
  • After the Seed of Light is activated, everyone in the facility is seen smiling serenely. Everyone but Taii and Flower. When asked why they aren't smiling like everyone else, all Flower can say is blankly state that they don't feel like smiling.

    Episode 48- 53 (A Party Everlasting)
  • With all other options closed to them, and Abnormalities closing in from every angle, Suho elects to completely abandon their role as Information Department Head and face against the Abnormalities themself, solely to give the others time to escape. Not only that, Rza elects to go against their boss's word and stay behind with them, because Suho alone wouldn't be able to buy enough time for them to escape.

    Episode 54 / Epilogue (Flower)
  • Though Taii manages to momentarily restore Catt to their normal self, Catt re-Distorts into A Party Everlasting at very next moment. After a final exchange with Taii via the small rabbit companion, A Party Everlasting opens a chasm in the liquid it'd produced and plummets into the depths, taking the facility's Abnormalities with them. Taii tries to chase after them, but upon seeing the worried faces of their other friends, ultimately give up the endeavor and sadly dangles above the pool.
