  • Given that they follow the theme of the book, it's pretty hard not to be one.
    • When the Monster first comes to life, he approaches Wishbone/Frankenstein as his creator. The latter only shows scorn to the former for not living up to the perfect being he worked so hard to create, and even tells him to leave by the time he returns. The poor creature takes it as well as one would expect.
    • The Monster pleading for Wishbone/Frankenstein to make him a friend so he won't be alone. When his request is turned down, the Monster is livid and broken up in turns as he declares he'll respond to his creator's rebellion with more destruction, in wake of his ongoing loneliness.
    • The episode's telling of the story ending on the sobering note that the Monster can only ask the sailor to pass on the message that he is sorry he created so much unhappiness to his own maker.
