Tear Jerker / Warrior Wolf Women of the Wasteland

• Pippi begging Tessa to recognise and spare her, to no avail. Yes, she's a Jerkass, but she's about to get killed by a giant wolf who used to be her best friend and who now doesn't remember who she is.
• Talon's background manages to be even sadder than that of the average Warrior, because unlike them she wasn't undone by someone else's malice like Nova or even by sheer happenstance like Slayer, but by love. She literally got exiled for being so Happily Married that she and her husband couldn't keep their hands off each other (and no, her getting increasingly hairy and monstrous didn't make him less interested - she was always going to look beautiful to him). They tried to restrain themselves to doing things that had smaller effects, but eventually they were still found out and she had to leave both him and their children. And then she ended up killing her sons years later, and her husband, upon finding out, chose to die rather than to have anything more to do with her.
• Guy finding Ashley dead, and very calmly insisting on joining the attack on the Outlanders.
• The state of the Warriors at the end of the book. From two hundred strong to numbering... nineteen.
• Daniel's meeting with a wolf that seems to recognise him and who he guesses is Nova at the very end.
