The Comic

The comic may be a goofier and cleaner version of Norse mythology, but when tragedy occurs it is treated as grievous as it deserves. What makes it perhaps sadder is that it's all a part of destiny and could never be avoided.

  • "The Serpent in the Abyss" - Tyr's abusive childhood is revealed. It starts off hilariously abusive, then it degrades into simple abusive to the point that even Boisterous Bruiser Thor can't take it anymore and helps out Tyr.
  • "The Ballad of Balder" - The death of Balder. The artwork shows the light fading away, Frigga screaming for Balder and Hoedr in a Heroic BSoD having realized what he's done.
  • "The Vala's Visions" - This is where Ragnarok occurs. The Norse Apocalypse, the end of things. A fitting end for the final issue.
    • Fenris the wolf ate Freya. Roskva angrily confronts her old friend on what he did... only to sadly realize that Fenris had followed his nature. And as for Loki, on hearing what his son did, he's quieter and sadder than usual.
