  • In the first issue, Ironhide asks Orion Pax if he really wants to talk with Megatron alone. Orion bemusedly tells Ironhide that things certainly haven’t gotten so bad that two old friends can’t sit and talk alone. Then Ironhide leaves, and Orion’s hopeful demeanor crumbles; he simply stares at the floor with an uncertain expression, clearly wondering if things actually have gotten that bad.
  • Rubble’s murder and the way Bumblebee just totally shuts down afterwards. Orion tries to comfort him, but Bee just shoves past him and drives off, leaving Orion uselessly trying to apologize to thin air. Since the only reason Rubble was killed was because Bumblebee had been too busy assisting Orion with the Ascenticon situation to escort him home like intended, it's implied Bee blames both Orion and himself... and Orion is painfully aware of this.
  • Before Rubble is killed he tries to contact Bumblebee for help but ends up calling Prowl instead. However, since he was miles away he was helpless to do anything and could only listen as the young bot was chased down and murdered, a later issue shows he is haunted by this.
  • After the Tether falls and causes widespread destruction, Bumblebee joins in on rescue efforts. He finds someone pinned under rubble and digs them out, assuring them help is here. However, the Cybertronian is long dead and Bumblebee (still carrying guilt over Rubble's death), just sinks down at another life he failed to save.
  • Lightbright's reaction to the news that Cybertron's entire fleet of Titans have died, and that her friend Lodestar is the last of the Titans. It doesn't help that Lodestar is heavily damaged having just been forced to slay Vigilem, another of the Titans.
