• The episode of his podcast immediately after Bobby Eaton passed away opens with Jim audibly holding back tears and reporting his friend's death. His raw emotion is obvious as the man who famously never shuts up struggles to find the words to express his feelings, until he helplessly asks his co-host to take over because he knows he'll break down if he tries to keep going.
• Many of Jim's appearances on and discussions of the Dark Side of the Ring are this. Most of the backgrounds to Jim's YouTube videos have comedic art mocking whoever Jim's talking about, but this video about his appearance on the Owen Hart episode just has Jim sadly watching the episode and reminiscing.
• Jim remembers Jay Briscoe. Much like Bobby Eaton, he has a hard time keeping it together.
