Tear Jerker / After Earth

• The mother eagle who adopts Kitai saves him from freezing to death by putting him in a heated pit, making a nest over the pit, and crouching over it, using all of her body heat to keep Kitai alive. She freezes to death instead, but saves him.
  • Not to mentioned earlier that her babies were killed by the cats, and Kitai tried to protect them. He leaves the nest to see the mother crying for her babies.
