The Uncanny X-Men (2024) is a comic book title from the X-Men franchise and part of the From the Ashes brand, following the end of the Krakoan Age. The writing team is veteran writer Gail Simone and artist David Marquez.
Per the promo image, the team consists of Jubilee, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Rogue and Gambit.
The first issue [will] release in July, 2024.
The title contains the following tropes:
- Badass Family: Per the promo image, the team includes Nightcrawler, Rogue and Gambit. Rogue is Mystique and Destiny's adopted daughter, and the couple are Nightcrawler's biological parents. Rogue is also married to Gambit and both are members of the team.
- Real Men Wear Pink: Gambit is still wearing his trademark pink thief costume, as seen in the promo image.
