Tottemo Luckyman is a manga series written and illustrated by Hiroshi Gamo.
Yoichi Tsuitenai was one of the unluckiest boy who always run into misfortune. One day, he got crushed by an alien spaceship and die. The Luckyman (a cosmic superhero with the power of luck) resurrected him and gave him his power. Yoichi, now as Luckyman, must save the planet from invading aliens with the help of his friends.
This series provide example of:
- Born Lucky: The original Luckyman has the power of extreme luck, and so does the titular protagonist.
- Born Unlucky: The fate of Yoichi, at least before his encounter with Luckyman. Even after he became Luckyman, he is still unlucky in his "normal" form.
- Nice Guy:
-The Friendshipman is extremely friendly, and tend to make friend with anyone wherever he goes.-The Niceman is... well... a pretty nice guy.
- Power-Up Food: One of the things Yoichi has to do in order to transform into Luckyman is to swallow a rakkyo (a special pickled garlic clove that sounds like "rakki" or "lucky")
