Blue Angel rushes to Playmaker, who is having trouble against the AI programs. Thanks to her, Playmaker is able to get out of a pinch and reach the inner depths of the mother computer. However, when Playmaker reaches the data bank, a certain character stands in his way...
This episode contains the following tropes:
- Blatant Lies: Ghost Girl claims that she has nothing to do with Blue Angel's involvement in the data bank infiltration. Akira doesn't buy it.
- Chewing the Scenery: Mean Boss as Kitamura may be, he dramatically loses it when Prototype Ai-A is defeated by Playmaker, and when the latter infiltrates SOL Technologies' data bank.
- Hoist by His Own Petard:
- Prototype Ai-B attempts, and fails, to invoke this against Blue Angel, also utilising a Death of a Thousand Cuts playstyle which involves dealing effect damage to the opponent when it takes effect damage.
- Prototype Ai-A's hand destruction strategy backfires, as it lets Playmaker pull off a OTK and get a new Link Monster.
