• Bait-and-Switch Silhouette: Jesse sacrifices all seven of his Crystal Beasts to summon Rainbow Dragon complete with imposing shadow. Turns out Jesse doesn't have Rainbow Dragon yet allowing Air Neos' attack to connect.
• Throwing the Fight: Implied. Jesse cut Amethyst Cat's attack points in half to attack Jaden directly while Jaden had monsters on the field. If he let his other Crystal Beasts clear out Jaden's Neo Spacians, Amethyst Cat could attack directly at full strength winning the duel. Jaden later mentions that all Jesse had to do was play certain combo, and he would’ve won. Jesse doesn’t even deny it, likely already knowing it before, but wanted to keep the duel going cause he was having too much fun.
• Viewer Species Confusion: In-universe, Jesse misidentifies Amber Mammoth (his own monster) for an elephant.
