- Awesome, but Impractical: Atticus equips his Bronze Warrior with Ultimate Stage Costume boosting its attack and defense by 3000. However, it can't attack with the costume since it's too big to move around in.
- Breather Episode: This episode focusing on Atticus wanting to become pop stars with Alexis is set between Jaden's defeat to Aster in the previous episode and Jaden leaving the island to spiritually recuperate while Chazz gets brainwashed by Sartorius in the next episode.
- Didn't Think This Through: Atticus stops Alexis' Cyber Angel Idaten from destroying Panther Warrior using the Cursed Ring trap card, intending it to be a metaphor for how Alexis' own monsters think she should give up dueling and join him in a pop duo. Then Idaten attacks him, and Alexis reminds him that Cursed Ring only stops the equipped target from destroying a monster in battle. It does not prevent Life Point damage.
- Downer Ending: The episode ends with Jaden sitting in his room and considering leaving Duel Academy since his loss to Aster rendered unable to see his own cards.
- Innocently Insensitive: Alexis refuses to take part of Atticus' plan. Bastion backs her up saying she can't carry a tune. This earns him a slap from Alexis.
- My Friends... and Zoidberg: Bastion notes that with Jaden gloomy, it would be the perfect time for Crowler and Bonaparte to tear down the red dorm. Chazz rallies everyone saying they're one man down, but remain five men strong, then changes it to four men and a lady on account of Alexis and then changes it to "three men, a lady, and Syrus."
