Gansley, who already has 2 monsters on the field, continues the duel by summoning "Melchid The Four Faced Beast" to attack "Obnoxious Celtic Guardian." With only 400 life points left, Yami draws a "Rainbow Blessing" card, which he doesn't think he can use now. However, "Kuriboh" recommends the card to both him and Yugi, and it's placed face-down. After the next draw, Gansley activates "Offerings To The Doomed," destroying "Chimera" and leaving only "Berfomet" behind (Chimera's effect allows Yami to bring back one of the monsters used to form it). However, Gansley sacrifices "Melchid" and "Wall Of Illusion" to summon "Rainbow Snake Eingana," who destroys "Berfomet." Fortunately, just before "Ruklamba's" attack hits Yami, "Kuriboh's" Deck Master Ability activates, forming a protective wall of "Kuribohs" to protect him.
It's revealed that Yugi took over for Yami to protect him from all of the attacks. They both realize that Kuriboh saved them, and it was the heart of the cards that helped them. Unfortunately, Yugi's body is finally affected from the blast. To add insult to injury, using its abitlity moved it to the playing field, and when a Deck Master is destroyed, the owner loses. Luckily, he draws "Swift Gaia The Fierce Knight," a monster with 2300 attack points that can be summoned without a sacrifice, due to it being the only card in Yami's hand. Before summoning it, Yami activates "Rainbow Blessing" to sacrifice Kuriboh and allow all other monster to attack directly this turn. He then summons "Swift Gaia The Fierce Knight," and since Gansley's Deck Master Ability doesn't work against direct attacks, Yami wins the duel.
