"A Little Snip and Teaching Old Dogs" is an episode of Young Sheldon that first aired May 9, 2024.
Sheldon presents his proposal for a new physics curriculum to President Hagemeyer. When Dr. Sturgis and Dr. Linkletter read it, they find it to be too advanced for them. They reluctantly ask Sheldon to teach them, which he does, employing the methods used on him in Germany, such as public humiliation and being whacked on the knuckles with a pencil.
Sturgis and Linkletter aren't making any progress, so Sheldon calls Connie and asks her for advice. She tells him to be patient with Sturgis and Linkletter, which Sheldon does, and they successfully learn the material.
Meanwhile, Mary & George Sr. are babysitting CeeCee. Mary loves spending time with her, and starts talking about how much she misses her children as babies. George starts to worry that she has "baby fever", and talks to Tom and Wayne about it at the bar; Tom advises him to get a vasectomy.
George goes to the doctor to sign up, and finds that they are fully booked for three weeks. But then, another man chickens out at the last minute, and George takes the opportunity. At home, George claims that he pulled a muscle during practice; Mary is suspicious, but ultimately doesn't realize what he did.
