Go To

"A House for Sale and Serious Woman Stuff" is an episode of Young Sheldon that first aired on April 2, 2020. Directed by Alex Reid. Teleplay by Eric Kaplan, Tara Hernandez and Jeremy Howe, based on a story by Steven Molaro, Steve Holland and Maria Ferrari.

The house next-door to the Cooper family home goes up for sale, and Pastor Jeff (Matt Hobby) and Officer Robin (Mary Grill) want to buy it. Sheldon doesn't like the idea because the newlyweds will probably soon have a baby. And Mary's also uneasy but for different reasons.

Missy has to pitch against her boyfriend Marcus (London Cheshire) at an upcoming baseball game. She fears that if she strikes him out, he will dump her, but if she pitches him easy balls, she'll lose her own self-respect. She goes to Connie for advice on the matter.

Tropes

  • Kissed Keepsake: Missy reacts like this after Marcus holds her hand.
  • Shout-Out: To Stephen Hawking, Sheldon considers the renowned physicist and ponders if the wheelchair-bound man would like Texas on account of the terrain's flatness.
