Go To

The Pink Panthers suspect that there is a mole among them. Need has to make sure that they don't discover that it’s him.

Tropes:

  • The "Be Careful!" Speech: True to form, Peter expresses his concern for Neal, fearing that Woodford might uncover Neal as the mole:
Peter: Hey, partner. Be careful out there.
  • Cliffhanger: Woodford points a gun at Peter when he means to replace the guy that Woodford killed, asking who he is.
  • Control Freak: Peter conducts background checks on all the ob-gyns to find the best one for Elizabeth.
  • Frame-Up: Keller plants his tracker on one of the other men, causing Woodford to believe he's the mole. The scanner sets off an alarm, leading Woodford to promptly shoot the man.
  • Janitor Impersonation Infiltration: Mozzie and Peter pose as maintenance workers inspecting the yoga studio for asbestos, allowing them to check if the pneumatic tubes behind the wall are still functional.
  • Jurisdiction Friction: Peter suggests exposing Keller to prevent Woodford from discovering Neal as a mole. Luc disagrees, wanting to pull Neal out, which would expose him. When Peter refuses, Luc withdraws from the agreement entirely.
  • Non-Answer: Peter lampshades that Neal evades his questions:
Peter: Mm, when you ask questions, you're avoiding answers.
  • Overt Rendezvous: Neal has a secret meeting with a random woman in public, which Luc has photos of and uses to confront Peter. Peter claims it's for another operation, but in reality, he has no idea what Neal has been doing.
  • Real Stitches for Fake Snitches: Keller plants his tracking chip on another Pink Panthers member, who is subsequently killed by Woodford because he believes he's the mole.
  • Refuge in Audacity Discussed. The other Pink Panthers suspect Neal is the mole and confront him with their accusation:
Neal: If I were a mole, wouldn't I try to stay in the background? Maybe keep a lower profile?
    Panther: Or the opposite.
  • The Stool Pigeon: Discussed. Neal tells Woodford that he is reluctant to help find the mole because he doesn't want to be seen as a rat:
Woodford: That just might be a better answer than "yes."
  • Wham Shot: Diana makes a shocking discovery when she finds Luc's lifeless body in a dumpster.
  • When You Coming Home, Dad?: Discussed. Peter misses Elizabeth's sonogram, leading to her frustration and an ultimatum that such an incident should not happen again:
Elizabeth: Let me make this clear. I am not going to raise our child as a married single mother.
