With Yan Lin the only one of the former Guardians Nerissa has yet to enlist, WITCH focus all their efforts on keeping her safe as Nerissa and the Knights focus theirs on corrupting the former Air Guardian.

- Determinator: Hay Lin and Nerissa throughout the episode. Nerissa in her pursuit of Yan Lin, and Hay Lin in her attempts to keep her grandmother safe.
- Nerissa: Don't you EVER GIVE UP?!Hay Lin: I took relentless lessons from you!
- Emotion Eater: Hay Lin's fear for her grandmother is so potent Tridart is able to use it to create two, albeit insubstantial, clones of himself.
- Tridart: Please...there's enough fear in this cave to glut three of me.
- Incorruptible Pure Pureness: When Nerissa has Yan Lin caged, she attempts to corrupt her. First with promises of power, then with youth and beauty and finally by threatening Hay Lin's safety. None work.
- Nerissa: You seem incorruptible...and I am running out of time.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Taranee gives one of these to Hay Lin when her desperation to protect her grandmother powers up Tridart too much.
