To celebrate their friend Pete being accepted to Yale, a group of high school students have a camping trip in the 'Forest of the Damned'. They soon begin to regret their decision after a prank goes wrong.
Tropes featured in this episode:
- An Aesop: Bullying and mean pranks should not be tolerated.
- Asshole Victim: Every one of Pete's "friends", being cruel pranksters. A.J. included. Pete also counts as one after he bashes his friend's head in with a rock to be the sole survivor.
- And Then John Was a Zombie: The ending. In the morning, Pete goes back to the RV. His zombified friends ambush him and kill him, turning him into one as well. They are implied to do this to the two cops at the end.
- Broken Pedestal: Pete has this about A.J, when he finds out he uploaded the video of his friends' latest mean prank, after promising to delete it.
- Downer Ending: Pete and all his friends die, turn into zombies, and go after the cops investigating the RV.
- Genius Loci: The forest is able to resurrect dead people as zombies.
- Jerkass: All of Pete's friends are cruel, malicious pranksters who pick on him because they think it's funny. One of the cops at the end too, who takes the mask of one of the missing pranksters, saying he'll use it to scare his roommate for an earlier prank.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: A.J. is this. At first.
- Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: A.J. He seems nice at first, deleting the video of their latest prank on Pete, until it's revealed he didn't delete it, but uploaded it online. This is because he was jealous of Pete getting into Yale, and not him.
- Karmic Twist Ending: After killing his last surviving friend, Pete makes it to the RV to escape. He is cornered by his zombified friends and killed.
- Nice Guy: Pete, which makes his friends' treatment of him all the worse.
