Recap / Trollz E 24 Boyz And Girlz Together

Go To

Amethyst, Sapphire, Topaz, and Onyx have been brainwashed by Simon's magic cookies and are now completely loyal to him, with the added bonus of being able to use magic without spell beads. Things look dire, as Obsidian and Amethyst's grandma have been captured, Zirconia and Spinell are free but too far away and weak to help, and only Ruby and Mr. Trollheimer are free. As Ruby barely escapes an attack, Rock and Coal help her find food and shelter. Mr. Trollheimer reveals that if they can go to Gremlin Country, find a talisman that belonged to Simon, and have someone with no magical ability handle it, they can turn the tide.

Just then, the girls attack and capture Mr. Trollheimer, while Ruby, Rock and Coal run away. Topaz forcibly reads his mind to find where they've gone, and while Simon prepares to drain the Ancients of all their magic, he sends them to stop Ruby. Ruby, Coal, and Rock manage to find the talisman, an old trophy, but are attacked by the brainwashed girls. During the fight Amethyst almost falls into a deep pit, and while her friends abandon her Coal saves her. It's enough to change Amethyst back to normal, and with their help the other girls are freed as well.

Deeply regretful, they head back to try and stop Simon, pretending they've captured the boys and Ruby so he doesn't notice. At the ceremony the girls manage to catch Simon off-guard with a spell, but his magic is extremely strong, and soon he captures them with magic chains. Rock tries to use the talisman to even the odds, but Mr. Trollheimer tells them that they were supposed to destroy it, not bring it back. Luckily, Simon is distracted by what turns out to be his old Gremlinball trophy, and Rock manages to destroy it by crushing it against his forehead. Simon and Snarf disappear, and the Ancients and Trollzopolis are freed. Sapphire profusely apologizes for their actions, but the Ancients assure her they knew they weren't themselves, and Ruby is proud and grateful to Rock for saving the day.
