Kevin's friend Rickey Houlsenback becomes his first friend to get his drivers license. When Rickey asks the gang to go riding on Friday night, Kevin ends up canceling a date by lying about his grandma being in the hospital, only to run into her at a restaurant. Eventually, the gang accepts a drag race challenge, but Rickey loses after following traffic rules.

- Bittersweet Ending: Kevin's date he cancels finds out about the lie, the gang loses a drag race due to Rickey's cautious behavior, they mistakenly moon Kevin's parents (though Kevin ducks from view as soon as he knows who they're mooning and it's unknown if they're aware that it was Kevin and his friends), and the car runs out of gas on the road, but the guys end up deciding that they had a fun night regardless.
- Mooning: At one point, Kevin's friends decide to moon the people in the next car. Kevin looks and sees that the couple in the next car are his parents, and he ducks so they don't see him.
- Oh, Crap!: When Kevin realizes that his friends are mooning his parents.
- Random Events Plot: The first half of the episode is Kevin, Randy, and Purdle helping Rickey pass his drivers test, the rest has the gang hanging out in the car at night, with a few small plotlines such as Kevin lying to break a date.
