Hilarity ensues when Baker Smurf, Brainy Smurf and Jokey Smurf switch each other's eggs intended as a gift for Papa Smurf.

- Cheaters Never Prosper: Brainy Smurf finds an egg and plans to give it to Papa Smurf... but when he sees that Baker Smurf's making a sugar egg, he assumes that Papa will like that better and switches them. Long story short, he would've been better sticking with his original gift.
- Non-Fatal Explosions: Jokey Smurf's egg explodes and the cake splatters all over Papa Smurf, much to Brainy's shock.
- Oh, Crap!: Brainy Smurf gets this expression when Papa becomes enraged from the explosion of the egg.
- Rage Breaking Point: Papa Smurf begins to chase Brainy out of the lab with a rolling pin, thinking it was him who did it. Brainy tries to explain that sugar eggs don't explode, but Papa refuses to listen.
