Someone is trying to steal The Secret Thing, but who? Certainly NOT one of the main characters, even though it might appear that way at first... because the thief in question is an impostor equipped with a suit that allows him to assume the form of other people so he can make his way to the Secret Thing undetected. Can Victor tell the difference? And will he ever find out what The Secret Thing actually is?

- Bait-and-Switch: U.Z.Z. Headquarters is put under lockdown when Professor Professor finds out that someone is going to steal the Secret Thing. To get in, Victor has to show Ray, one of the agents, his pass. The joke is set up so that, because of his own incompetence, Victor doesn't have his pass and he has to trick Ray into letting him by, with one of the gags being convincing Ray that their (made up) children are best friends. Then the real Victor shows up with his pass, the first Victor having actually been an Impostor, and calls Ray out on being so easily tricked.
- Brick Joke: Sweet Little Granny is blasted off at the start of the episode to clear the time-slot. Later on, when Anita and Victor are chasing an Imposter in chairs with rockets later on in the episode, Sweet Little Granny comes flying past them, screaming and holding on for dear life.
- Diegetic Soundtrack Usage: At the beginning of "The Secret Thing", Victor and Anita are singing the show's theme song (as they usually do during the title sequence). It ends up being a plot point later on when Victor is confronted with two Anitas (the real one and an Imposter) and he uses it to determine the real one.
- Macguffin: The Secret Thing. Everyone but Victor knows what's inside its tube container, and yet the Impostors want it for unknown and unspecified reasons.
- Interrupted by the End: Victor (and by extension, the viewers) are about to learn what the Secret Thing is, only for the episode to abruptly end.
- No Ending: The episode ends just as Anita is about to reveal what the Secret Thing is.
- Once an Episode: The beginning of many:
- The Fluffy Bunny Show, hosted by Sweet Little Granny, being evicted from its time-slot to make way for The Secret Show. In this instance, Sweet Little Granny is sent flying by rockets attached to her chair.
- Victor and Anita landing on something after they jump in the title sequence. In this case, it's onto their hover-bikes.
- Changed Daily's name being, well, changed daily for reasons of the utmost security, and it's always really embarrassing. In this instance, Changed Daily's Name is Chuckle Botty.
- Changed Daily takes the fireplace he leans against everywhere. And by sheer coincidence, in the room where the Secret Thing is stored, they lean on another fireplace that just happens to be there.
- Victor being asked if he's still alive, to which he angrily confirms over the intercoms once his hands are free.
- A spider and the bunnies from the Fluffy Bunny Show can be seen in various points in the episode.
- Spot the Impostor: And how... the main antagonist of the episode is a shape-changing impostor.
- The Un-Reveal: What is the Secret Thing? Well, the episode ends before the answer can be revealed. Sorry, Victor.
