Episode 1 (Pages 1-6)
The story starts off with the Sullies and Turings discussing their children, before the quick arrival of an Eldritichian. The resulting explosion of a bomb sets off a chain reaction, destroying the base and causing the barrier atop to crush everyone below. One week later Dan & Summer are approached at the funeral to be given keys and a map, which later leads them to SERVE Base Echo City. Here they're given mechas of their own, and are incorporated into a new squad SERVE has started work on.
Episode 2 (Pages 6-10)
Akio's younger sister, Hiroko, arrives with her brother with the intent to see the squad and to pilot a mecha.
