Shaun just needs a drink.
After getting involved in a fight at a bar, Shaun ends up being admitted to the hospital. Meanwhile, Claire must figure out a way to save her patient without Shaun's help, and Andrews must decide whether to step into Shaun and Han's trouble.
- Bait-and-Switch: At the end of the episode, Lea returns home to find Shaun well dressed and with a bouquet of flowers and chocolates in his hand. Lea obviously draws the same conclusion as the viewer did. When Shaun asks if he can ask a question, Lea answers yes, only to immediately correct himself and clarify that the "yes"' was to the question's permission. Shaun then asks if he looks pretty. When Lea says yes, Shaun then leaves, leaving Lea confused. It is then revealed that he is planning to invite Carly on a date.
- Failed a Spot Check: Shaun is so happy that Carly accepted his invitation to a date that he leaves... still carrying the flowers and chocolates he planned to give her.
- Pet the Dog: Andrews sticks up for Shaun against Han.
- Put on a Bus: Han is fired after Andrews initiates a vote of confidence amongst the hospital board.
