Chapter 7: Senku POV
Ishigami Senku reflects on his recent memories, waking up after being petrified for nearly 4,000 years and following smoke signals while his friends infiltrated Tsukasa's side, which don't match awakening in a bunk bed in a room with another man and two teenage boys. The man, tall with white hair and a black blindfold [Gojō Satoru] is calming the blue-haired boy from a panic attack, and the other boy atop the other bunk, sporting black hair in a bowl cut and dark eyes [Kageyama "Mob" Shigeo] asks if Senku is all right; as he answers, Senku notices that none of the others have cracks in their skin.
The man looks at Senku, glad to see he's awake, and teases him about his appearance, which Senku responds to by insinuating he can't see with a blindfold. After several tests of How Many Fingers?, Senku accuses the blue-haired teen of giving the man the answers, to which the boy loses patience and explodes from stress, having no idea what's going on after a terrible past hour. Senku, though unskilled with emotions, explains that he copes using logic and apologizes for asking for too much too fast, followed by assuring them that they will get out of whatever mess they're in.
The teen accepts this and shakes Senku's hand, introducing himself as Okumura Rin. At a scream from outside, Senku heads out, finding answers as well as more questions.
