Chapter 13: Yuuri POV

Yuuri stresses about his outrageous situation, from Legoshi to so many familiar voices to the present language issue. He notices Senku with a couple of black beads in his hands watching the room then talking to Heine, upon which he begins freaking out. Several try to calm him down and understand what he's saying to no avail, and when Levi finally demands what he's talking about, Senku shows the beads, saying he found them in his ears, and having them there allowed him to understand everyone. All present find the same beads in their ears except Feliciano, to their shock.

Zuko runs over the information that they've gathered, including Izuku's conclusion that they're from different worlds and times. This leads them to compare time periods, with most coming from the early 21st century and a handful each from the 19th to 20th centuries, the distant past, and the distant future, while U-1146 has a different concept of time than the rest of them. Korra then states that she knows Zuko, but then discovers that she can't say how beyond confirming that they're from the same world. Fujinuma points out that it could be a problem for the rest of them, and Yuuri tries and fails to say he enjoys ice skating, leading them to conclude hobbies and occupations are forbidden.

Amid the newly renewed panic, Spike suggests they explore the rest of the mansion, with Midoriya and Fujioka agreeing that they need to gather knowledge and Gōjō suggesting they split up. L suggests they split into four groups of ten: one exploring the other two staircases as two groups of five, one exploring the rest of the first floor, and two exploring outside, one inside the metal fence and the other through the forest outside.

Emma expresses her apprehension at dangers in the forest, and Hinata reassures her, the orange-haired boy's determined optimism spreading to the rest of them. L elaborates on sending those with more combat experience into the forest, such as Levi with the knives in his boots. Hinata is surprised at this, to which he notes Zuko and Kamado's swords, Spike, Heine, and Phantomhive's concealed guns, and U-1146's concealed knives.

Izuku then asks about the basement, leading the group to a door he noticed beneath the left staircase in the entrance hall, and L revises his suggestion to be five groups of eight.
