A team at an astronomical observatory has noticed a decrease in the sun's activity, which they think explains reports of highly unusual weather phenomena, and come to the conclusion that an early Ice Age will arrive within the year.
Meanwhile, on the roof, Rentarou is feeling unusually despondent. Kusuri thinks it's due to him shaving himself bald a couple chapters ago and offers him a hair growth drug to cheer him up. Hahari takes this as an opportunity to have the girls experiment with hairstyles, with Mei giving everyone haircuts.
Seeing the hairstyles produced by the hair growth drug and Mei's handiwork gets Hahari gushing (quite literally) before she gets the idea to take Kusuri's hair manipulation drug for some tentacle play. But instead, she gets swallowed by her own hair, which quickly starts growing out of control and attacking the girls. Kusuri explains that combining the two drugs causes a person's hair to hijack their brain and act out the person's base instincts.
The groups flees into the building, with Kurumi getting caught as she pushes the stragglers down the stairs. As they make their way down the hall, the vice principal gets slammed into a wall by an avalanche of hair. Kusuri passes out the drugs in her pockets before being caught by another hair tentacle. Hakari gets caught next as she pushes Karane out of the way of another tentacle.
Rentarou and the remaining girls emerge to find the school yard blanketed with students being molested by the wild hair. Fortunately, the Hanazono family car is untouched. But as soon as everyone piles inside, the hair tangles itself in the car's wheels. Iku and Karane step out to push the car forward, and as the car speeds off, Karane hits Iku onto the roof with her bat, allowing the latter to tackle away the hair waiting at the front gate.
As the hair spreads beyond the school, Nano, Mimimi, and Rentarou head inside a nearby building as Shizuka and Mei drive off to distract the tentacles. Inside, the hair has rendered the elevator inoperable, forcing the trio to take the stairs to the roof.
Once they step outside, they find that the entire planet has been engulfed by Hahari's hair.
