Continuing from the previous episode, Gurren Lagann battles Viral's Enki when the Beastmen's base is revealed: the mobile fortress Dai-Gunzan,under the command of Thymilph the Raging Wave, one of the Four Generals of the lord of the Beastmen, the Spiral King. Meanwhile a new Gunmen shows up to save Team Gurren.Its pilot is revealed to be none other than Kittan.Simon takes control of Gurren Lagann to shoot drills around Dai-Gunzan,drilling the ground to sink the huge fortress. Viral and Thymilph retreat to return the next day. Kamina, Simon and the others notice a group of humans (Iraak, Zorthy and Kidd, brawny twins Jorgun and Balinbow, trigger happy clown faced Attenborough note , stoic Maaken and Wrench Wench Leyte) with stolen Gunmen, among them Kittan and Dayakka from Yoko's village of Littner.Realizing that Lagann can control any mecha, Kamina formulates a plan to capture Dai-Gunzan.
A new battle is about to begin . . .
