April, Irma and Howie call on the turtles to investigate a lot of strange phenomena going on at Floxy Theatre, including sightings of a mysterious Phantom that haunts it.
Tropes:
- Clark Kenting: No one seems to recognize Shredder while still wearing all of his armor because he covers it in a hat and cape. As in a cap over his usual cape.
- Energy Absorption: The Energy Accumulator is an "energy sponge" that Krang creates to help power the Technodrome.
- Hugh Mann: It's revealed that Eric is a shapeshifting alien that crashlanded 100 years ago, the Phantom being one of many guises he's taken to keep his ship (the pipe organ) safe.
- Imported Alien Phlebotinum: It's revealed that all of the strange phenomena going on in the Floxy is because the pipe organ is an alien spaceship that Howie had accidentally tampered with using materials from the alien supercomputer from the last episode.
- Theatre Phantom: Eric/Erik's "Phantom of the Floxie" persona is a reference to The Phantom of the Opera.
