"Valentine's Day"
It's Valentine's season. Glenn wonders if he can set up the employees, while Jonah and Dina try to tail a woman they suspect of being a shoplifter.
Tropes:
- Ambiguous Situation: It's never actually confirmed whether or not Shannon really was the shoplifter Jonah and Dina suspected her of being. At the end it briefly looks like she's lifted Jonah's wallet before leaving, but then he realizes it was in his other pocket.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Double subverted by Arthur. He seems to be a relatively sweet old man, but Myrtle accuses him of being a serial harasser to her. At first Amy dismisses Myrtle's complaints as misinterpretations of innocent comments. Then he really does turn out to be a pervert who continues making sexual comments he knows are unwanted.
- December–December Romance: Glenn and Amy scheme to set up the elderly Myrtle and Arthur, but it turns out Arthur is a pervert and Myrtle files harassment claims against the three of them.
- Distracted by the Sexy: Dina accuses Jonah of this after he insists on investigating a potential shoplifter, but then starts flirting with the suspect.
- The Matchmaker: Deconstructed for laughs; Glenn and Amy matchmake two senior employees, but it goes south when Myrtle files harassment claims against them for forcing her to work with Arthur.
- Meet Cute: Jonah flies a drone into the head of the woman he's tailing, but the two of them actually hit it off.
- Valentine's Day Episodes: Valentine's day shenanigans at the local superstore.
- Wacky Marriage Proposal: In the cold open, Miles organizes a flashmob proposal to coworker Lisa, but he did it during her bathroom break and restarts the whole thing when she comes back. It still works!
