The Protostar crew and Maj'El are beamed to Solum to try freeing Wesley and Ilthuran.

- Because Destiny Says So: Maj'El accompanies the Protostar crew because Wesley said they should all remain together.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with the Protostar crew stranded on Solum at the mercy of Ascencia and her guards.
- Didn't Think This Through: Wesley apparently had a brilliant plan that involved himself getting captured by Ascencia and being rescued by the Protostar crew. However since he failed to tell them any of it, they split to save Ilthuran, which is apparently enough to derail the whole plan. Also, his prolonged torture at the hands of Ascencia has left him unable to use his powers.
- Future Me Scares Me: Young Ascencia is horrified by her future self and is leading the resistance against her.
- Invisibility Cloak: Rok-Tahk came up with a portable cloaking device. Since its range is quite short, they all have to huddle to be covered by the cloak.
- La Résistance: Led by Young Ascencia and Ilthuran against the police state led by Future Ascencia.
