Prisma has teamed up with a Strangeling—a shapeshifting rat—to nab the Locket of Vor, which will help them gather the Wicked Nine, which are nine magical objects used by the Disney Princess villains. The Protectors only know where some of the Nine are, and they'll be watching over those to see if anyone will try to steal them. Sofia and Chrysta are assigned to watch over the Falcon's Eye, a gem hidden inside Shan-Yu's sword, but will they get this job done themselves? Or will they have to ask for help?

- An Aesop: Teamwork accomplishes anything.
- Bittersweet Ending: The Protectors successfully protect the Falcon's Eye, both it and the sword are brought to the Mystic Isles for safekeeping, and the Protectors are to find most of the other Wicked Nine as well. However, Twitch steals Sofia's Necissi-Key and escapes with it, and frees Prisma who is also after the Nine.
- MacGuffin: The Wicked Nine. The first one in particular is the Sword of Shan Yu which contains the Falcon's Eye.
