Go To

The Ztar has broken free from where it was sealed at the end of "Bad Stars" and is wreaking havoc on the world again! The secret service ask Mario and SMG4 to stop it, but can they defeat it and its Teletubbie army? This blooper celebrates SMG4 gaining 300k subscribers.

This blooper contains examples of:

  • Chekhov's Gag: Ztar's tendency to switch to his Toad personality is what leads to his fate when Mario tricks it into chasing a plate of spaghetti into the portal.
  • Darker and Edgier: Compared to "Bad Stars". Notably, the Ztar and the destruction it brings are not Played for Laughs, several characters are killed onscreen and Mario is almost suffocated to death.
  • Fatal Flaw: The Ztar's fondness for absorbing "the power of the stars".
    • Peach distracts it with star-shaped biscuits, allowing Mario and SMG4 time to reach the castle.
    • Later on, SMG4 paints the Old Man Star gold to trick the Ztar - and it works; the Ztar loses its power and gets sealed again.
  • Knight of Cerebus: Ztar is not messing around this time. Almost all of its comedic traits are gone, it nearly absorbs the power of the stars and almost suffocates Mario with its aura. It also showcases a lot more of its power, such as raining meteors and zapping people with lightning.
  • Naked People Are Funny: The Ztar disagrees. Vehemently.
  • Phallic Weapon: SMG4's "CANNON PENIS" makes a return, blasting Mario at the Ztar. It doesn't work.
  • Sequel Episode: This episode continues the story of "Bad Stars" roughly 10 months later, both in-universe and in real time.
  • Split Personality: The Ztar, as per usual. The "Toad" personality has been muted somewhat, in keeping with the Darker and Edgier theme.
  • Taught by Experience: Last time, Mario and SMG4 teamed up, used an Old Man Star and exploited Ztar's Split Personality to defeat it. So Ztar deals with Old Man Star (temporarily), then summons a Teletubbie army to overwhelm Mario and SMG4 and actively suppresses his "Toad" personality whenever it comes up.
