• Bittersweet Ending: Princess Tutu is gone, now that Duck has given up the necklace (really the last shard of Mytho's heart), but Mytho has regained his true identity as Prince Siegfried, thus setting the stage for the final confrontation. On a side note, Duck has found someone who will unconditionally love and care for her, in the form of Fakir.
• Exact Words: Once Princess Tutu declares her undying love to the prince by giving him the final shard of his heart, she does indeed disappear in a speck of light. But rather than a Cessation of Existence, she simply changes back into Ahiru the duck, since she can no longer maintain a human form without it, much less change back into Princess Tutu ever again.
• He's Back!: Once Princess Tutu gives her necklace, Mytho's heart is complete. Coupled with the sword, this allows him to regain his true identity: Prince Siegfried.
