- Gratuitous French: This exchange between Ziggy and Dr. K when he frees them from their restraints:Ziggy: Voila!Dr. K: Merci beaucoup.
- Heel–Face Turn: By the end of the episode, Tenaya has been cured of the Venjix virus and is now working with the Rangers.
- Killed Off for Real: Kilobyte is finally destroyed at the end of the episode by the Rangers' Finishing Move.
- Unfinished, Untested, Used Anyway: Despite Dr. K not having completely finished the antidote before being captured, Dillon injects himself with it in order to stop the Venjix virus. Fortunately, the antidote works, and he uses a vial to later cure Tenaya of her own infection.
- Unperson: Venjix hacks into the biofield and renders Gem and Gemma as such. Dr. K quickly points out at the end of the episode that he can easily do the same to the others if they morph as well.
