- And I Must Scream: When Hayley found Kira unconscious after the MOTW breaks her free from its control when its done controlling her and woke her up, her first words were "Oh no", revealing Kira is aware of everything that is happening while being mind controlled, but she finds herself unable to do anything about it.
- Berserk Button: Being mind controlled is one for Kira. After Fossilador breaks her free upon being restored, she is immediately filled with rage over what the monster forced her to do.Kira: Nobody messes with my mind and gets away with it!

- Stealth Insult: When Elsa, in her Principal Randall disguise summons Trent to her office to talk about his recent attitude change, and then asks him if he was interested into joining a team (aka Mesogog's), to which Trent replies he was asked to join a team but he declined because he considered them losers.
