Ash and co. visit a maid café run by a group of sisters, who use Miltank for the milk they need in their menu items. Unfortunately, the youngest sister is having trouble getting her Miltank, named Ilta, to listen to her, so Brock decides to help her out. Meanwhile, Dawn's confidence continues to suffer after losing the appeals round for two contests in a row.

- Age-Inappropriate Dress: Autumn. On top of Dawn already wearing one normally and in a maid outfit, Autumn seems younger than her with a maid outfit.
- Apathetic Pet: Ilta. She is noted to ignore almost everything Autumn says and would rather laze around than help. This is somewhat justified, as Autumn has just caught her, and Brock helps Autumn earn Ilta's trust. Ilta becomes more obedient towards Autumn after she protects her from a swarm of Beedrill.
- Precocious Crush: Autumn gets one on Brock.
- Running Gag: Ash wears a dress again.
- Stepford Smiler: Dawn goes through this for a little bit. While she tries to put on a brave front, she is still very upset about failing the appeals round twice in a row.
