- Notes, as becomes common when talking about the Titanium toyline, the toy would actually have some pretty good articulation...if not for the diecast metal, which makes parts so loose and heavy it can't actually use those nice joints.
- Points out that Optimal Optimus was this trope form the show writers, being too powerful for the plot to actually exist with him as an active player.
- Nightmare Fuel: In-universe. TJ has a nightmare where he helps Beast Wars Optimal Optimus give birth to its Titanium counterpart. He wakes up in horror, only to find the Titanium sitting nearby.
- Shout-Out: To Superman, when showing off Optimal Optimus's flight mode.
- The Worf Effect: TJ points out how big of a victim of this Optimal Optimus was in the show and questions why anyone would actually want a toy of him because of it.
