- Combat Tentacles: Admits that Alpha Q's tentacle gimmick was a cool idea, it was implemented horribly. TJ summons them to attack the audience at the end.
- Faux Horrific: The review is told in the manner of a scary ghost story. The 'audience' disagrees...Until he summons tendrils to menace them.
- Halloween Special: One of the few he's actually done.
- Show Accuracy/Toy Accuracy: In-Universe, TJ points out that while the detailing is decent, the color pallet is horrifically inaccurate to the cartoon to the point it's hard to tell it's the same character. That and his gun turret was never in the show, and he's missing one of his faces (which they didn't even get the designs of two of the three they included right).
- Take That!: The first story TJ wanted to tell was 'about a spiderman and his clone'. He decides that was too scary for the audience.
