The Ninja reunite with Wu and turn to the aid of a shrunken Pythor in order to figure out how to defeat the unstoppable Anacondrai.
This episode provides examples of:
- Cliffhanger: The Elemental Masters are scattered across Ninjago, Pythor has been captured by Chen, and the Anacondrai Cultists are free to start the Second Serpentine War.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Literally, as Cole breaking the prison walls almost causes a prison break. This is adressed to him.
- Rogues Gallery Showcase: The prison includes members of every previous enemy faction in the series, specifically: Kruncha and Nuckal of the Skulkin (this also happens to be their last appearance in the series), Pythor of the Serpentine, Captain Soto and No-Eyed Pete of the pirates, the Giant Stone Warrior of the Stone Army and two Nindroid Warriors of the Nindroid Army. Not every leader, however, as most of them are either dead (Samukai, General Kozu, and General Cryptor) or reformed (General Skales and Master Garmadon).
