Nya, having sent a warning to the Ninja and their allies in Ninjago, has alerted them to the presence of the Storm Amulet at the Explorer's Club.
- Miles Gloriosus: Clutch Power's retelling of the events of The Island miniseries is not entirely accurate.
- Riddling Sphinx: A giant stone one that offers a Stock Riddle in order to grant non-members access to the club.
- Stay in the Kitchen: Implied to be the general opinion of the Explorer's Club. Misako, the only known member, was removed and is considered to be a "disgraced ex-member" of the club due to going missing on an expedition, while Clutch Powers, who was on the exact same expedition, is commended for his tales of it.
- Underestimating Badassery: Though they talk a big talk, the Explorers Club members are actually quite competent in a fight. Of course, in this case, they're hopelessly outmatched, but it's still a commendable effort.
