The Ninja head to the Island of the Keepers to retrieve the Storm Amulet before Kalmaar can get his hands on it.
- Exact Eavesdropping: Kalmaar isn't fooled by Nya's plan of giving up the fake amulet to make him believe he's won, because she and the Ninja had been discussing the real Amulet's location before he broke in.
- Fakin' MacGuffin: At some point during the events of The Island, Clutch Powers switched a fake Storm Amulet with the real one, which he took back to Ninjago.
- Parents as People: Maya admits that Nya is a better Master of Water than she ever was, and that she didn't need her help at all.
