As the final battle with Empress Beatrix rages on, the MergeQuakes are driven further towards the world-endangering tipping point, and the Ninja have to act fast to put a stop to the mad ruler. All while someone has to prepare to face their barriers and push past them to their true potential.
- Big "NO!": Sora lets one out as Beatrix is about to use the MergeQuake weapon on Lloyd and Arin, unlocking her true potential just in time to save them.
- Calling the Old Man Out: Sora drops a killer call out to her parents when they refuse to believe their daughter is fighting for what's right, and the realization that she never needed her parents' approval to be worthy as a person is what helps her unlock her true potential:Sora: I didn't abandon you. You abandoned me! I thought I had to prove myself to you. But you should never have to prove your worth to your own parents!
Sora's dad: You are young and naive, Ana! Just come back to your family!
Sora: I have a new family now! One that loves me for who I REALLY am!
(After Sora unlocks her true potential)
Sora's mom: Ana... You have elemental powers?
Sora: I do. And my name... Is Sora! - Dwindling Party: As the heroes battle against Beatrix, several of them end up being sucked into miniature MergeQuakes with only Arin, Sora, Lloyd, Nya, and Zane being the last ones remaining by the time Beatrix is taken out. Thankfully, Lloyd's World-Healing Wave brings back everyone who was taken out by Beatrix's MergeQuakes.
- Hoist By Her Own Petard: Beatrix is taken out by being knocked into one of the MergeQuakes she created.
- Horrible Judge of Character: Despite seeing everything that Beatrix has done, even endangering all of reality just to destroy the Ninja, Sora's parents still believe that she's in the right.
- Omnicidal Maniac: Beatrix, of course.
- Sequel Hook: Despite Beatrix being defeated, several plot points are still in play or set up in this episode for later down the line:
- Arin, having seen his parents in one of the MergeQuakes, still intends on finding them, and has yet to fully master his Spinjitzu transferring abilities.
- Everyone else sucked up by Beatrix's Mergequake rifts returned- surely she did as well.
- Kai and Wyldfyre, after a little target practice, start to realize something's different about Wyldfyre's elemental flames compared to Kai's, with Kai suggesting they may not actually share the same element.
- The futures of Cole and Jay are still up in the air, with Cole still seeking out Master Wu's voice, and Jay still working with the Administration.
- Lloyd points out there are still many secrets of the merged world for them to seek out.
- Ras recruits Jordana for his cause of weaponizing the Source Dragons' power, revealing he has a true master that he answers to, and Jordana still having a vial of Source Dragon energy with her.
- World-Healing Wave: Through using his role as the Conduit through the Dragon Cores, Lloyd manages to stabilize all of the MergeQuakes that Beatrix created, even bringing back everyone who was sucked into them during the battle.
