Not believing that Tony killed Michael purely in self-defense, Tony, Ziva, Gibbs, and Vance are summoned to Tel Aviv by Eli David for an interrogation.

- Cliffhanger/Wham Episode: Ziva leaves NCIS to rejoin Mossad, and she ends up getting abducted and imprisoned in a terroist training camp in Somalia.

Eli: Enough said. - I Did What I Had to Do: Tony outright says this to Ziva on having to kill Michael in the previous episode. She doesn't buy it.
- Internal Reveal: Gibbs attempts to invoke this trope by attempting to tell Vance about how Ziva earned Gibbs' trust by saving him from Ari. Vance turns it back onto Gibbs by revealing he not only already knew, but also reveals how Eli initially sent Ziva to kill her own half-brother.
- Obfuscating Stupidity: Tony acts like his usual flippant self during Eli David's interrogation of him, and it ends up riling up Eli enough to unwittingly admit Michael Rivkin acted on orders. Even Vance is caught off guard, though no less impressed.
- P.O.V. Sequel: It starts with Ziva's POV at the end of last episode.
- Title Drop: When demanding that Ziva stay at Mossad to prove her loyalty to him, Eli describes the events as her Aliyah.note
