Film watched: The Million Eyes of Sumuru
On November 25th, 2021, it was announced that this film would be featured again on MST3K's new Gizmoplex service for Season 13. The episode was released on September 2nd, 2022 and is recapped here.
The Segments:
Segment 1- After spending all last episode outside in the vacuum of space, Joel is let back onto the Satellite of Love by the Mads. Joel is more mad about the 'Bots locking him out than he is about the next movie.
Segment 2
- Joel uses a set of Idio-Probes to put Crow and Servo in paralyzing pain, as his way of punishing them for locking him out of the SOL. The topic then turns to where Gypsy has gone off to.
Segment 3
- Joel's attempt to put on a The People's Court sketch keeps getting derailed by the 'Bots and their multiple non-sequiturs.
Segment 4
- Crow and Servo want to know how Joel survived five weeks in space with no suit on. Joel answers by grabbing his guitar and singing them a familiar song.
Segment 5
- Servo's mouth is malfunctioning. Joel moves it for him so he can read off the fan club address.
