As the last day of the school year dawns, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash react in completely different ways. Twilight panics and starts trying to do as much extra work as possible, while Rainbow waits impatiently for the final bell even though Miss Cheerilee shows a Daring Do movie during the day's last class. Once the bell rings at last, Rainbow snaps Twilight out of her frenzy of work by telling her she can read as much as she wants over the summer, and even volunteers to go to the public library with her. Twilight and the other Rainbooms burst joyfully out through the front doors of Canterlot High to start their summer vacation.

- Big "NO!": Twilight screams this twice: first at the beginning and again when the bell rings; both are followed by Rainbow doing the inversion.
- "Last Day of School" Plot: Right there in the title. It revolves around Twilight and Rainbow's perspectives on how they see the last day of school. Twilight panics as she has lots of work to finish as possible and worries she'll be unable to finish it by the time the day ends, while Rainbow is excited for summer vacation and can't wait for the day to end, especially when the class has to watch a Daring Do movie.
