When Wendel gets ready to begin his 23rd term as governor, Mike introduces the idea of democracy and elections, deciding to run against Wendel for governor. Lu, fearing of not being princess anymore if Mike is elected, pulls out all the stops for Wendel's campaign trail. Nevertheless, Mike wins the election, but when she discovers all the burdens that come with the position, she abdicates the title back to Wendel.
