A series of savage murders draws Max to Dunneglen, Scotland. It seems the perpetrator might be a mythical werewolf.
Tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: It's set up like werewolves are behind the murders. It turns out the werewolves we see are innocent victims, with a Mad Scientist trying to distill their condition for her own empowerment.
- Mugged for Disguise: The villain steals the police constable's clothes after knocking him out, since they destroy their clothes when they monster out.
- Protector Behind Bars: Norman and Virgil spend the episode arrested as murder suspects (Though it's fairly clear Norman could break out of the cracker box county lockup if he wanted to, but doesn't because Max and Virgil tell him they'd just be making more enemies). Fortunately Max gets help from a werewolf who happens to look a lot like Norman and sound a lot like Virgil.
