Recap / Mega Man NT Warrior Axess Space Junk

Go To

Yai brings her friends on a trip to outer space when an unknown entity steals her space station.

  • Adaptation Species Change: In Battle Network 4, Junk Man was born from the junk data on the internet. Here, he was came into existence in a weather satellite abandoned in space, technically making him an alien.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: The things Junk Man uses to scare off the humans are earthquakes, thunder, fire, and fathers. While the first three are obviously fears of natural disasters, the last one is a reference to Japanese families fearing their fathers as head of the household.
  • Earth Day Episode: Downplayed. But space debris is a prevalent theme and Lan remarks that if Junk Man was on Earth, garbage wouldn't be an issue.
  • Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: Both ways. Yai and co. learn that Junk Man considers the space debris he finds his friends and didn't know Yai's space station wasn't something he could collect. Junk Man learns that the humans trespassing in his castle aren't trying to steal his friends, but own the property he took. Junk Man apologizes for the trouble he caused while Mega Man, Roll, and Glyde teach him what he is and isn't allowed to collect.
  • Space Episode: The episode takes place in space, complete with a shuttle, space station, and astronaut suits.
